《Song For My Father》是Horace Silver Quintet于1965年由Blue Note发行的一张专辑。该专辑的灵感来源于Silver前往巴西旅行时的经历，这首作品也是Silver献给自己的父亲John Tavares Silver的一首歌曲，他在笔记中回忆说：“我的母亲是爱尔兰裔和黑人血统，我的父亲是葡萄牙裔，他出生在佛得角群岛之一的马约岛。”Claude Williamson Trio对这些作品进行了精彩的再现。

艺术家简介：
Claude Berkeley Williamson，美国爵士钢琴家。Williamson出生于美国佛蒙特州。在转向爵士乐之前，他曾在新英格兰音乐学院学习，受到泰迪·威尔逊（Teddy Wilson），艾尔·海格（Al Haig）和巴德·鲍威尔（Bud Powell）的影响。1947年，他移居加利福尼亚，先是与泰迪·爱德华兹（Teddy Edwards）合作，然后与旧金山的Red Norvo合作，1949年与查理·巴尼特（Charlie Barnet）合作，与六月·克里斯蒂（June Christy）合作了两年。2006年他成立了Claude Williamson Trio。
