这是来自高度评价的比利时羽管键琴独奏家Ewald Demeyere在唱片公司Challenge Classics发行的第二张专辑。这张专辑以“17世纪的羽管键琴哀歌”为主题，挑选了来自William Byrd，Johann Jacob Froberger，Thomas Tomkins，Louis Couperin和Melchior Schildt等作曲家的音乐。
Ewald Demeyere于1997年在安特卫普 (Antwerp)的Koninklijk Vlaams Muziekconserviumiu跟随Jos van Immerseel学习大键琴。多年来，一直是杰出的早期音乐乐团“La Petite Bande”和“Il Fondamento“”的成员，在厂牌Accent上发行了许多CD，包括Thomas Augustine Arne创作的《八首键盘奏鸣曲》，由Wilhelm Friedemann Bach创作的《奏鸣曲和赋格》，还有Joseph-Hector Fiocco创作的的《Pièces de Clavecin》和D.斯卡拉蒂的奏鸣曲。
