In the middle of the 18th century, Europe was in the era of various musical styles and forms. Giuseppe Tartini (1692-1770), an Italian composer, used Expressionism as his label. His decorative music once led the music trend at that time, and his violin works, as his best genre, have been popular until now. Tatini’s hazy composition of nature and music coincides with the ideas conveyed in the theological work the age of reason. His 135 Violin Concertos and more than 200 Sonatas left behind in his life are full of a kind of mystery that can not be reached. The album uses Norway’s traditional Cape harden violin performance to imitate the bagpipes that often appear in Italian music at that time. The performer hopes to use this form to pay tribute to the musician who likes to use folk music as his composing motivation.
